Aberdeen Rules
Only NSRA2510BM, 2010BM or 1510BM targets shot at the appropriate range may be used.
Competitors may shoot their cards at any time within the allotted match period.
Unless otherwise stated, ties will be decided by the use of graduated gauges and the National Smallbore Rifle Association Rules will apply.
Ranges 15, 20 or 25 yards.

Winter Leagues
1. Club teams of four, each shooting one card per round. 10 rounds shot at fortnightly intervals.
2. Affiliated clubs may enter any number of teams.
3. Secretaries are required to give the average of each competitor, as given in the Winter League Averages supplied form the previous season, or from an equivalent league. For new members, the average for at least 3 cards should be given.
4. Rounds can be shot on receipt, as long as they are shot in order. Each round must be shot by the finish date.

Champion of Champions

Stage 1
1. Highest aggregate of the 10 League cards from the Association.
2. In the event of a tie, the association will issue 3 cards for a shoot off.
3. Subsequent ties will be decided by graduated gauges.
4. At the end of the 10 match period, an invitation will be sent by the referee to each club secretary for their club champion to participate in the final stage.

Stage 2
5. To be shoulder to shoulder on a range selected by the association in the county of Aberdeenshire.
6. 30 shots, ten each at similar targets to those used in Winter League.
7. In the event of ties, the use of graduated gauges will decide places.

Competition dates
Stage 1 , as per Winter League
Stage 2, 1st Sunday in April, unless April 1st is a Sunday, in which case it would be the 2nd Sunday, so follows the Ellon Trophy.

Junior Championship

1. Open to all competitors participating in the Winter League and under 18 years of age on the 1st of November of the current season.
2. The winner will be decided by the aggregate score of the best 9 of the first 10 League cards issued by the Association.

Association Cup Competition
1. A knockout competition of club teams of four.
2. Each round to comprise 2 x 10 shot cards per team member.
3. rounds prior to the semi final may be shot individually, an not as a team.
4. Semi final and final rounds are to be shot by team members at the same meet, and witnessed by a witness appointed by the referee.
Pairs Competition
1. A handicap knockout competition for club pairs.
2. Each round to comprise one 10 shot cards per competitor.
3. Every competitor must retain the handicap chosen at the beginning of the competition. Should at team member of the nominated team be unable to shoot, the     reserve must accept registered handicap for the team member substituted.
4. Note that NSRA rule 7.7.7 is not applicable.

J.A.C.K. Scot Trophy
1. A handicap knockout competition for Club Teams of Three.
2. Open to competitors having an average of 97.5 or less as per Winter League.

3. Minimum handicap is to be five (5).
4. Each round is to comprise of 1 x 10 shot card per competitor.
5. Every competitor must retain the handicap chosen at the beginning of the competition. should a team member of the nominated team be unable to shoot, the reserve must accept the registered handicap of the team member substituted and have not previously shot for another team in the competition.

Ellon Trophy
An individual handicap competition to be shot in three stages.

Stage 1
1. An aggregate of nine cards, 30 shots (three 10 shot targets per month) in the months of November, December and January.
2. The leading sixteen competitors to qualify for the 2nd stage.
3. Competitors may, if they wish shoot any number of their three cards on the same day but must have all their cards shot within the calendar month.
4. All cards for each month must be posted within twenty-four hours of the last day of the month to the referee.

Stage 2
5. The aggregate of two 10 shot cards.
6. To be witnessed by the secretary or executive official of the Club.
7. The leading four competitors qualify for the final stage.

Final Stage
The aggregate of three 10 shot targets to be shot shoulder to shoulder at Ellon Smallbore Rifle Club on the first Saturday of April.

Veterans Competition
1. A knockout competition for all competitors aged 60 years and over on the 1st of November of the current season.
2. Two 10 shot cards per round.
3. Competitor selects own handicap.
4. Final to be shot shoulder to shoulder, if convenient.
